Longtime exponent of New Age,Healing,World,Fusion music, Tarshito has followed a diverse and fascinating path into the world of music. Not being one to sit solely in his studio and dream, he has travelled extensively and gone 'on location' to feel out haunting atmospheres to enrich his music. Among his influences are Indian, Latin, Brazilian, African and Aboriginal tribal music, Tarshito blends the " primitive" with rock, jazz, folk ,classical and ambience to give his work a unique power.

A casual update on what I've been up to the past year or so.

Lot's of jammin at parties,acoustic round the camp fire.....mmmmmm...... and of course some other highlights......

I have just met up with Om from California ( Lost AT Last,One At Last playing keyboards and computer) and we are playing Trance Chant music. Incorporating the chanting into Electronica-Trance-World-Acoustic conscious Dance music.

I have also just released 2 new albums

Mystic Moments 

Cruisy, Groovy, Acoustic moods with catchy melodies and awesome harmonies 

with Latin, Gypsy, Celtic and Ambient flavours, 

blending angelic vocals with soaring flutes, 

rhythmic guitars and world percussion.

Eltara and I continued to hold weekly Chanting,Bhajan,Kirtan Circles.

I was inspired to continue composing and producing new chants and earlier last year I released my 3rd Chanting album.

CHANTING INTO BLISS III

Singing & chanting is probably the easiest quickest way to God/ Nirvana. 

Simply let go and sing your heart out and reach a state of satori. 

Musicians know about this, and anyone can achieve this by simply singing. 

By chanting the names of the Gods and Goddesses,

singing positive affirmations, mantras, Kirtans is pure bliss.

In May 2005 I began composing and producing music for the film " Whale Dreamers" by Kim Kindersly.

The movie was released in Australia in September 2008.

This movie has now won many awards

I've been recording many projects in the past year.....

One of these was with Sangeet, the gypsy sitar man......released in November 2008.

it is sounding awesome.......world grooves .....featuring Sitar......we used some spacey keyboard sounds....which Sangeet felt were from another planet...hence the title...
